How To Use
How To Use Rinude
Rinude is a metered sublingual spray. Every spray delivers 0.2 mg of melatonin — the same amount, every time — so you can find the smallest number that works for you and stay there.
The steps
- Shake gently. Remove the cap. On first use, prime the pump with one or two sprays into the air.
- Spray on or under the tongue 15–20 minutes before bed.
- Hold for 10–15 seconds before swallowing. This is the step people skip, and it's the one that matters — the hold is what lets the spray absorb through the tissue under your tongue instead of going to your stomach.
- Swallow. Lights down.
Find your number
| Who | Sprays | Melatonin |
|---|---|---|
| Children 6+ | 1–3 sprays | 0.2–0.6 mg |
| Adults 16+ | 4–7 sprays | 0.8–1.4 mg |
Start at the bottom of your range. Judge it at breakfast, not at bedtime: if you woke clear and rested, that's your number. If you woke during the night, go one spray higher tomorrow. If you felt heavy in the morning, go one spray lower. Most people settle on a number within a week.
Good to know
- One 14 mL bottle holds 120 sprays — about 30 nights at an adult 4-spray serving.
- Do not exceed the serving printed on the label.
- Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight, cap on.
- Children should use Rinude only under adult supervision. Not for children under 6.
- Keep out of reach of children.
